A walk in the woods:
Imagine that one day you have gone to your local woods for a walk, with your family. What does it feel like to be there? Use your sensory language to discuss the following: What can you hear? This could be animals, people or the noise made by the wood. What can you see? Consider the fact that it is foggy or misty. What can you smell? What might you taste? What might you touch? As you walk through the wood, a ghostly figure appears from the mist. Who is this person? Why are they there? Write a paragraph describing you encounter with them. Have they lost something in the wood? Are they lost themselves? Have they come to seek your help on an adventure or quest?
