Welcome to our Year 1 page. Please check here regularly for new content. We will upload information about our curriculum, weekly spelling lists, photos of our learning activities and any important notices.

Please ensure your child is reading with you regularly (ideally 10mins every day, at least 5 times each week) and practising their number bonds. 'NumBots' is a great App for practising basic number facts (see login details in your child's Reading Diary) and we also recommend children use 'Times Tables Rock Stars' to begin learning and practising their times tables. Another useful App is 'Spelling Shed', which provides a range of activities to support children in daily practise of spellings (again, login details are in Reading Diaries).

If you have any questions for us, we are usually available when children are dismissed at the end of the day, or you can email our school admin account (admin@cherrytree-pri.essex.sch.uk) and your query will be forwarded to either one of us.
