Contributions to the Community

We are so proud of some of our pupils who took part in a 'Mud Run' in June. Collectively, they raised money for Cancer Research, along with some of their siblings in older year groups. Well done to Lexie, Cody and Jensen for such an amazing achievement and contribution in support of others.

Home Learning

Daily 5-10 minutes of reading to an adult or older sibling and talking about what they have read.
Daily practising of phonics and/or spellings. We suggest 5 minutes. This can include use of the online resource,' Spelling Shed'.
Daily practising of numbers bonds and/or times tables (2, 5, 10). We suggest 5 minutes. This can include use of the online resource, 'Times Tables Rock Stars'.

History Week - Wb 22nd June

The children in Year 1 really enjoyed sharing their history learning with Year 4 this week. They worked very well and listened with eagerness when the older children were sharing their work with them too.
